STREETS OF IRAN

The so-called “street photography” is the essence of real and purest photography. Its idea should be viewed in a broader sense – you don’t have to see a street in the photograph and it doesn’t even have to be taken in an urban area. It is mostly about the decisive moment, so brilliantly defined by the father of street photography, Henri Cartier-Bresson. It is the time, not the place, that makes a photograph unique. In every tiniest fragment of time, an infinite number of events, situations and coincidences occur around the world and it is up to the photographer to release the shutter in that right moment to capture something that has never happened before and will never happen again in that way. However, this frozen particle of time and space will remain in our photograph forever.
